Some suggested principles for choosing an ideal graphics card

  1. Choose a graphics card suitable for your PC and output devices.
  2. For graphics usages, you may separate into 2D visual quality and 3D performance. Workstation graphics are able to satisfy these two requirements, but ordinary consumer graphics cards will have difficulties to satisfy these needs.
  3. For gaming and video editing usages, we may suggest choosing graphics cards that have better 2D visual quality and multimedia performance. The larger the memory size may able to speed up the performance.
  4. For documentation processing users only, entry-level graphics cards are much suitable for them. It has a lower cost and are capable to satisfy their needs
  5. If upgrading graphics cards are necessary, one must consider his/her requirements, affordable cost, features and mostly should also consider the after service of the company. Some advanced studies should be done before choosing a graphics card.
  6. If you are a CAD, animation or advanced users, workstation graphics are mostly suggested in these cases. As workstation graphics are certified by ISVs in both the hardware and Software.
If you are a gamer, consumer graphics boards are mostly suggested. One should consider which of the following points are in the first priority; features and functions oriented, performance oriented or price oriented.
